Reflecting on January: A Peek into My World

I Won Camp NaNoWriMo April 2023: 50k Words and Beyond!
I am thrilled to announce that I have successfully completed Camp NaNoWriMo for April 2023, reaching my goal of 50,000 words and surpassing it with a total of 63,533 words written in just 30 days!
It was a challenging but rewarding experience that helped me push past my limits and accomplish my writing goals. As an author, there's nothing more satisfying than seeing my stories come to life on the page, and I'm excited to share them with all of you soon.
But the journey doesn't end here. I'm already looking forward to the next Camp NaNoWriMo in July, where I'll be working on a brand new project that I can't wait to dive into. And, of course, I'll be sharing my progress with all of you along the way.

April was a productive month!
I participated in Camp NaNoWriMo, and though I can't reveal the details of my current project just yet, I'm excited to share more about it soon. I'm also working hard on finishing the first draft of "Wide Angle," and can't wait for you to read it.
As for other projects, I'm revising and re-editing the Detective Millicent Harvey series for release next year. "Wide Angle" Updates!
I'm thrilled to share that I've just completed the first draft of my upcoming novel, "Wide Angle". It's been an intense journey, but I'm excited to see it taking shape. As I mentioned earlier, I'm also participating in Camp NaNoWriMo this April, where I'll be working on my next book.
For those who aren't familiar, NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month, which takes place every November. The goal is to write 50,000 words in a month, and it's a great way for writers to get a first draft down on paper.
Camp NaNoWriMo is a more flexible version of the November event, taking place in April and July. Participants can set their own goals and work on any writing project they choose. It's a fantastic opportunity to connect with other writers, set goals, and make progress on your writing.

Attention All Detective Millicent Harvey Fans!
I've got some exciting news! Millie is taking a little break from solving crimes and going on a much-needed vacation. Don't worry, she'll be back and better than ever!
I've been working hard behind the scenes to give Millie the much-needed facelift she deserves. The current books just aren't flowing the way I want them to, so I'm re-editing and strengthening Millie's cases and storyline for a more thrilling and seamless reading experience.
Millicent Harvey was never intended to be a series, but once I wrote a second story with her, it just took off. And I'm thrilled to announce that I have at least 8 books planned for her!
